About Emma Fawcett-Eustace

I have probably wanted to be a florist since I was about seven, as a child staying with my grandmother we picked pale pink peonies from her garden, arranged them in a painted china vase and placed them on the black lid of the grand piano. As the seasons changed we picked scented garden Roses followed by huge Hydrangea blooms. This was the highlight of my many visits.

At home my sister and I spent the hot summers in the seventies foraging for flowers in Mr and Mrs Bowman’s cottage garden, sweet peas, stocks, flocks and roses were pulped and made into potent probably poisonous concortions we called scents. After the teachers strike gave us extra time, school had to start and flowers were forgotten.

Where will I learn?

We are privileged to be holding our courses in the Olympia Suite at Arley Hall and Gardens just outside Northwich.

‘The Gardens, which are amongst the finest in Britain, are outstanding for their vitality, variety and historical interest and are particularly celebrated for the magnificent double herbaceous border. The Hall is an impressive example of a Victorian country house built in the Elizabethan style.”  Source Arley Hall and Gardens Website.
